Requirements

Ability to perform hands-on operations related to warehousing, material transfer, production handling, packing, freight handling, and shipping
Proficiency in using Power Industrial Vehicles (PIV) to move finished goods or transfer warehouse materials
Knowledge of prescribed procedures for shipping and receiving logistics, including ERP systems, stocking location systems, FIFO, GMP rules, and Kanban systems
Capability to inspect raw materials for code, quantity, and QA acceptance
Compliance with housekeeping 6S standards and GMP requirements, including use of cleaning equipment

Responsibilities

Maintain Manufacturing Line Rhythm through replenishment of Kanban and delivery of Material Kits to production operators
Perform duties related to warehousing, material transfer, production handling, packing, freight handling, and shipping to distribution centers and/or sterilization plants
Support Shipping Logistics: Prepare documents for outgoing shipments, interface with transportation companies and Ethicon traffic departments, organize warehouse spaces/stocks, maintain and track inventories, restock materials, collect tracking numbers, load/unload trailers/trucks, and record system transactions
Support Receiving Logistics: Receive direct issue raw materials using ERP system, store raw materials per stocking/FIFO/GMP rules, assemble batches and record transactions, release batches to manufacturing via Kanban, keep records of released batches, document and segregate reject materials, dispose of rejects in system, and inspect received raw materials
Maintain Warehouse, Docks, and surrounding areas in compliance with 6S and GMP standards using cleaning equipment
Stage and store finished goods pallets; pull, package, and ship orders
