Responsibilities

  • Deeply care for and coach teammates (support GM and Training Team in coaching/mentoring new employees using LMS and progression pathways; influential team leader but does not manage employees)
  • Craft beautiful, well-executed coffee products according to company standards and serve customers with energy, warmth, and empathy
  • Maintain coffee quality standards across the store and assist coffee trainers in ensuring recipes are up to date
  • Ensure store maintains COVID-19 and NYC DOH standards for A Grade inspections on every shift
  • Maintain operational excellence in store environment, cleanliness, and brand expectations using company audit platform (100% compliance)
  • Open and close the location safely and responsibly, ensuring cleaning duties at beginning, during, and end of shift
  • Handle minor customer issues positively and solution-focused
  • Provide timely and consistent coaching to team for workflow improvements
  • Ensure back of house and all store areas are well-organized and safe
  • Uphold company standard NPS scores, celebrating positives
