Requirements
- Prior experience as a Service Technician/Fitter working on Pumps or in an engineering environment
- New Zealand EST license
- Motor winder or mechanical experience
- Drivers/Forklift/Crane license (highly desirable)
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully communicate with customers
- Result driven, while fostering a High-Quality Assurance and Environmental and Safety Program
Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled and emergency service work: strip, overhaul, repair, test, consistent with Standards and established procedures to meet customers’ requirements
- Confined space entry to retrieve pumps where required
- Inspect and test products prior to dispatch to customers
- Check stock, unload deliveries and check equipment received
- Provide training to customers on new systems
- Maintain all relevant documentation and reports for work undertaken, consistent with company policies and quality assurance procedures
- Maintain the workshop/vehicle so that it conforms to all necessary ESH requirements
