Requirements

  • Prior experience as a Service Technician/Fitter working on Pumps or in an engineering environment
  • New Zealand EST license
  • Motor winder or mechanical experience
  • Drivers/Forklift/Crane license (highly desirable)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully communicate with customers
  • Result driven, while fostering a High-Quality Assurance and Environmental and Safety Program

Responsibilities

  • Conduct scheduled and emergency service work: strip, overhaul, repair, test, consistent with Standards and established procedures to meet customers’ requirements
  • Confined space entry to retrieve pumps where required
  • Inspect and test products prior to dispatch to customers
  • Check stock, unload deliveries and check equipment received
  • Provide training to customers on new systems
  • Maintain all relevant documentation and reports for work undertaken, consistent with company policies and quality assurance procedures
  • Maintain the workshop/vehicle so that it conforms to all necessary ESH requirements
