Requirements

Candidates should have at least 2 years of technical experience in electro-mechanical, computer, automotive, electronics, robotics, or aerospace industries. Experience troubleshooting and repairing robots using hardware and software tools is required, along with the ability to use general shop, automotive, and diagnostic tools. A minimum of 1 year of experience in shop, lab, rapid prototyping, testing, and instrumentation skills is necessary. Familiarity with electronics troubleshooting using multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and other basic bench equipment is essential. Strong organizational skills, safe practices, and exceptional work habits are needed, as well as the ability to work independently and take directions from multiple sources. Experience with Jira is preferred, and candidates must be able to work weekends and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

The Service Technician will troubleshoot and repair robots using hardware and software tools. They will perform component-level and assembly-level testing and diagnostics, maintain component and lab inventories, and track inventory consumption to identify repair and maintenance trends. Diligent documentation of repairs in Jira is required, ensuring to capture pictures and videos to inform hardware and software teams.
