Requirements

Candidates should possess 7+ years of professional experience in frontend/UI development with a strong focus on React and component-based architectures, along with strong experience in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles. Familiarity with UX/UI test frameworks like Jest, Selenium, Cypress, TestCafe, Playwright, Chromatic, and a solid understanding of web accessibility (WCAG) are required, as well as experience with extracting, refactoring, and modernizing legacy codebases.

Responsibilities

The Senior UI/UX Engineer will participate in scrum ceremonies and team meetings, refine Design System and Component Libraries for consistency, update or create new UI components, create documentation for developers and designers, guide junior team members and ensure code quality through reviews and mentorship, work on automated tests for the UI, and work on automated tests for the UI for bugs, inconsistencies, or usability issues. They will also collaborate closely with design and engineering teams to build intuitive, performant, scalable, and reusable components, and ensure that it functions as expected, as well as participate in an on-call rotation to respond to business-critical alerts outside of regular working hours.
