Candidates should have at least 5 years of software engineering experience and a minimum of 3 years specifically owning a React/NextJS project, with TypeScript experience considered a plus. They must have experience with scaling front-end state/cache and handling large amounts of data, as well as a proven track record of owning the UI of a large product or feature from start to finish. Strong communication skills and an understanding of how the front end interacts with backend data and API calls are essential. The ability to work at a fast pace and effectively reduce project scope is also required.
The Front End Software Engineer will develop, design, create, modify, and test desktop and mobile web applications or systems. They will architect efficient and reusable front-end systems to drive complex web applications and implement features and user interfaces to optimize performance. The role involves interfacing with customers and stakeholders to understand business needs and identifying technical solutions. Collaboration with other engineers through agile practices, such as peer code reviews and documentation, is expected. Additionally, the engineer will create build specifications and project requirement documents, lead projects from PRD to deployment, and ensure code quality and testing.
