Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative field (Finance, Statistics, or related field)
4+ years of relevant work experience in data analysis
Proficiency in statistics and big data analysis
Strong Power BI skills
Experience with SQL scripting and complex query writing
English proficiency
Ability to translate analysis results into actionable recommendations
Ability to think beyond raw data and understand the underlying business context
Non-standard thinking, openness, and curiosity in data mining and analytics

Responsibilities

Create reports and analysis using multiple data sources
Assure proper data quality used for analysis and reporting
Design and develop advanced dashboards
Conduct data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in large relational datasets
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends in complex data sets, turning analysis output into actionable information
Perform behavior analysis to detect abnormalities in trends
Communicate data analytics results and preliminary hypotheses
Promote automation and improvements of current reporting processes using available tools
Identify and investigate fraudulent activities, collaborating with other teams and Management to escalate and address situations promptly
Analyze T&E patterns to detect and determine existing fraud trends
Review and investigate expense reports to identify potential and actual losses
Minimize fraud and organizational risk through proactive measures
Perform early detection of suspicious activities and implement controls to prevent losses
Develop database solutions and models to provide valuable business insights and ensure data security
Improve compliance assurance within the company’s travel and expense (T&E) policies
Enhance the effectiveness of T&E audits and fraud detection efforts
