This is an onsite position at a federal site in Indian Head, MD, approximately 30 miles from Washington, DC.
Candidates need a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline like Mechanical, Chemical, or Materials, 15+ years of experience in engineering testing of energetic materials, U.S. citizenship, and must hold or be able to obtain a DoD Secret-level security clearance.
You will work with multidisciplinary teams offering skills in engineering, science, economics, public health, IT, and communications, collaborating with engineering, quality, and production teams, with support from ERG personnel at the federal site and Fairfax and Arlington offices.
A strong candidate has 15+ years in engineering testing of energetic materials, a relevant engineering degree, knowledge of explosives safety regulations like OP-5, and the ability to lead testing operations while ensuring compliance and safety.
