Requirements

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving (e.g., using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry)
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 10+ years of combined relevant tax experience in Big 4 and/or in a private/public US corporation
  • Solid technical proficiency in tax technical accounting
  • Proactive, self-directed, and action-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect, influence, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders from front-line employees to executive leadership
  • Clear communicator, with experience running meetings effectively and explaining complex concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), particularly skilled in PowerPoint presentations
  • Experience in financial and tax systems (e.g., SAP, OneSource Tax Provision, Alteryx, Power BI)
  • Experience organizing large volumes of information and identifying automation and digitization opportunities
  • Experience with analytics, support metrics, and KPIs
  • Familiarity with enterprise software/SaaS industry is highly desirable

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic projects that improve internal workflows, managing the entire project lifecycle from design through implementation and quality assurance
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities, deploy solutions using AI agents and internal tools, and oversee successful rollouts
  • Partner with US and international tax teams and coordinate with cross-functional groups to ensure seamless tax integration of Finance initiatives
  • Collaborate effectively with global cross-functional teams to implement and enhance comprehensive tax processes and procedures to reduce risks
  • Facilitate communication among tax specialists, finance, strategy, engineers, and customer-facing teams to translate tax regulations into system logic and resolve data issues
  • Maintain system and data integrity to guarantee accuracy and audit readiness
  • Monitor global tax developments, assess their relevance, and guide implementation of changes into internal systems
  • Support the team in producing analytics and reports that provide actionable insights to aid leadership decisions
