A Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) is required, along with 8+ years of relevant systems software development experience.
Strong C programming skills, experience designing, debugging, and maintaining complex software stacks, background with operating system interfaces for threads, process control, and virtual memory, and experience with HW/SW co-design and performance modeling are essential.
You will evangelize, architect, and implement new CUDA features, oversee development efforts across multiple teams, collaborate with hardware architecture teams, define improvements to CUDA APIs, design performance modeling, and write effective code for multiple operating systems.
Expert interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills, the capability to achieve objectives under tight deadlines, and strong collaborative skills to guide and influence in a dynamic matrix environment are required.
Understanding of system level architecture like interconnects and memory hierarchy, designing drivers for HW acceleration, knowledge of CPU/GPU architectures and memory models, kernel mode development, and familiarity with C++ would help you stand out.
