Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience. They must have at least 5 years of significant software development experience, along with strong proficiency in C programming, C++, and low-level driver and SOC system platform development. Familiarity with computer system architecture, microprocessor, and microcontroller fundamentals is also required, as is experience with Linux, Android, Chrome, or Windows systems.
The Senior System Software Engineer will define, design, develop, and verify features for new SoCs platforms, collaborating with hardware engineers and fellow software engineers. They will follow SOC platforms through the entire development process to customer products. This role involves heavy involvement with early firmware, performance, power management, and all system software required to produce world-class products, while also collaborating and communicating effectively with global teams.
