Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field and have at least 5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in C/C++ with strong software development, optimization, and debugging skills is required, along with a fundamental understanding of operating systems and system architecture. Familiarity with hypervisors and hardware emulators such as QEMU, KVM, VDK, and Simics is also necessary, as is experience with major Linux distributions like Ubuntu, RedHat, or SLES.
The Senior System Software Engineer will contribute to the architecture and development of simulation platforms for next-generation NVIDIA Data Center platforms, building, integrating, and enhancing simulator components with new hardware features and creating supporting technical documentation. They will bring the full software stack up on Data Center Platform Simulators, collaborating closely with hardware modeling, kernel, and platform driver teams globally, while also improving performance, fixing bugs, and automating execution flow.
