Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
10+ years of working experience
Very strong system programming background with C/C++/Golang for large enterprise-class software
Knowledge and skills in: Cloud Architectures, Cross Domain Knowledge, Design Thinking, Development Fundamentals, DevOps, Distributed Computing, Microservices Fluency, Full Stack Development, Security-First Mindset, Solutions Design, Testing & Automation, User Experience (UX)

Responsibilities

Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug system software programs for enhancements and new products for storage systems
Develop system/platform software for enabling different components on storage arrays
Analyze issues in customer deployments of products/solutions and recommend workarounds/fixes (L4 support)
Improve/stabilize codebase releases through targeted code fixes and minor enhancements
Design enhancements, updates, and programming changes for portions and subsystems of systems software (e.g., IO path, storage management, databases, cloud-related applications)
Triage and fix customer issues as part of minor releases
Collaborate with cross-organizational teams (Hardware, Firmware, System management, Network teams, Architects, etc.) to arrive at solutions
Analyze design and determine coding, programming, and integration activities based on objectives and architecture knowledge
Write and execute complete testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned portions of the system; identify, debug, and create solutions for code and integration issues
Collaborate and communicate with management, internal, and external partners regarding software systems design status, project progress, and issue resolution
Provide guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members
