Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Climate Science, Environmental Science, or related field
- Acceptable understanding of material ESG topics on a per company basis
- Ability to systematically collect ESG data from company disclosures (e.g., sustainability reports, annual reports, proxy reports, websites)
- Constantly develop knowledge and expertise on ESG themes associated with corporates and how investors consume this information to make investment decisions
Responsibilities
- Participate in quality assurance procedures
- Support implementation of quality control measures and supervise research conducted by other analysts
- Review analyst-written ESG reports and handle high-quality standards with regular ESG quality data checks
- Support GHG footprinting projects
- Support CSRD and other regulatory reporting projects
- Develop and maintain corporate and investor ESG data sets
- Develop standardized PowerPoint decks for corporate clients
- Conduct corporate ESG rating review exercises
- Update descriptions of procedures and internal processes
