Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Climate Science, Environmental Science, or related field
  • Acceptable understanding of material ESG topics on a per company basis
  • Ability to systematically collect ESG data from company disclosures (e.g., sustainability reports, annual reports, proxy reports, websites)
  • Constantly develop knowledge and expertise on ESG themes associated with corporates and how investors consume this information to make investment decisions

Responsibilities

  • Participate in quality assurance procedures
  • Support implementation of quality control measures and supervise research conducted by other analysts
  • Review analyst-written ESG reports and handle high-quality standards with regular ESG quality data checks
  • Support GHG footprinting projects
  • Support CSRD and other regulatory reporting projects
  • Develop and maintain corporate and investor ESG data sets
  • Develop standardized PowerPoint decks for corporate clients
  • Conduct corporate ESG rating review exercises
  • Update descriptions of procedures and internal processes
