Experience in statutory accounting
Strong understanding of Italian GAAP
Familiarity with conversion from management GAAP to Country GAAP
Knowledge of local accounting and tax laws

Ability to resolve queries and anomalies

Responsibilities

Prepare financial statements according to Italian GAAP
Prepare an annual set of financial statements and applicable notes following the local GAAP
Conduct ongoing statutory accounting reviews and booking of adjustments
Maintain the Local GAAP Assets Accounts Database
Monitor standard activities for potential balance sheet risk areas
Liaise with business owners and Global Finance Teams
Liaise with the country accounting team and auditor
Collaborate on the preparation of annual disclosures
Prepare required information for tax returns in consultation with the tax department
Prepare OPEX (operating expenses) legal variance and analysis
Ensure consistency among legal entities for variance analysis
Deal with ad hoc accounting queries
Ensure centers of excellence are accounting for transactions correctly
Resolve issues between Finance and partners
Prepare National Statistics Forms
