Responsibilities

  • Designs, plans, and executes Statistical Programming components of plans for clinical projects to determine safety, efficacy, and marketability of medical device products
  • Uses sound statistical programming terminology to conduct studies relating to the product life cycle
  • Creates programs to develop, validate, and document datasets, tables, listings, and figures (TLFs) related to the devices being studied
  • Provides specialty SAS programming for data management, including customized line listings to support review of clinical trial data
  • Provides programming specifications and directions to the study team/statistical programmers
  • Supports regulatory review and provides data information for experimental therapies
  • Coordinates programming activities among study programmers for timely deliveries of ADaM-like analysis datasets, TLFs, data reconciliation reports, and other internal/external reports
  • Ensures study documentation is maintained to standards required by SOPs and acceptable for audits
