Requirements
Candidates must possess a BS degree or higher in an Engineering or Science discipline and have at least 6 years of experience in technical program management. A working-level knowledge of system safety and/or systems engineering processes is required, along with a strong track record in managing complex cross-functional projects. Bonus qualifications include working experience in the automotive industry or the autonomous driving technology industry, familiarity with safety-critical or high-integrity systems, and knowledge of applicable industry safety standards such as MIL-STD-882, ISO 26262, and ISO 21448 PAS.
Responsibilities
The Technical Program Manager will support the establishment and planning of various work streams for the Safety Case in each milestone. They will manage the planning and execution of system-level hazard analysis activities and ensure traceability of potential safety issues through safety architecture, requirements, implementation, verification, and validation. Additionally, they will lead the Risk Management Program for various milestones, define the Field Safety Issue response process for SDMA, and manage quarterly program planning and progress tracking for the System Safety team. The manager will also represent the SDMA System Safety team at key program review meetings and ensure that engineering groups are coordinated and on track to deliver corporate milestones on time and on budget.
