Requirements

The ideal candidate must possess at least 10 years of Technical Leadership experience, having operated as a Senior Staff Engineer or above for more than 2 years, with over 5 years of experience in the Ad-tech domain and expertise in Ad formats and infrastructure innovation. They should have shipped software with consumer usage, including Ad Formats, Ad Reporting, Ad Manager, and Ad Insights, and demonstrated leadership through vertical teams such as Full Stack, backend, web, and mobile. Furthermore, the candidate should have a strong understanding of the privacy landscape, including GDPR, CCPA, ePD, and ATT, and experience negotiating with privacy teams on behalf of ads, while also being able to deliver results through others and engage in hands-on work.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Staff Software Engineer, Ads Formats, the individual will enhance product development velocity, standardize formats and infrastructure, consider end-to-end impact across Ad rendering, serving, ranking, and measurement, and accelerate new formats innovation. They will collaborate across organizational and functional boundaries to find solutions and dive into details to create scalable solutions, focusing on expanding Ad Inventory, enabling Ads on new placements, optimizing the Ad User Experience, enhancing Post-Click and Pre-Click Interactions, supporting the Ads/Consumer Ecosystem changes to increase DAU, and implementing Infrastructure Enhancements for Ad Products, while also innovating new formats and establishing Product-Market Fit.
