Requirements

8+ years of professional software development experience, with 3+ years focused on developing backend cloud systems using Go (Golang)
Proficiency in building APIs using HTTP, gRPC, or REST and managing secure endpoint communication
Experience with containerized application development (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
Proven track record of building backend systems with high performance and reliability expectations
Solid understanding of networking concepts such as TCP, DNS, and SSL/TLS encryption
Familiarity or willingness to contribute to NodeJS backend development (preferred)
Exposure to DevOps automation workflows and CI/CD pipelines (preferred)
Hands-on experience with distributed messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar services (preferred)

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain integrations with internal or external products and services to enhance Zscaler offering beyond what a single solution
Implement APIs and microservices in Go (Golang) for scalable data exchange and real-time session handling
Collaborate with architects, product owners, and engineering teams to ensure cloud services align with the company standards
Develop and maintain solutions for traffic management, monitoring, and logging, ensuring high reliability and efficient debugging
Be part of on-call rotations, promptly investigating and resolving issues in production environments while continuously improving system reliability
