Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, and have at least 7 years of experience in a security engineering role. They should have strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, including networking, storage, compute, IAM, data encryption, identity management, access management, and securing cloud-native services. Experience with security methodologies like SAST, SCA, and DAST is required, along with familiarity with tools such as Veracode, Qualys, and Orca. Strong understanding of network security protocols and experience automating security workflows using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Senior Staff Security Engineer will architect and implement security solutions across public cloud platforms to ensure application security, identity management, and data protection. They will enforce best practices for securing on-prem and cloud services, resources, and APIs, conduct threat modeling exercises, develop and execute vulnerability management strategies, integrate security into CI/CD pipelines, manage and configure SIEM tools, and maintain comprehensive documentation of security policies and procedures. This role also involves working closely with development teams to ensure secure coding practices and assist with relevant audits and compliance standards.
