Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 7 years of dedicated hands-on Design Verification (DV) experience using SystemVerilog. Advanced knowledge of High-Voltage Level (HVL) methodology, specifically UVM, is required, along with proven experience in full SOC cycles from concept to tape-out and bring-up. Experience with taping out large SOC systems incorporating embedded ARM processor cores is essential. Familiarity with AXI Bus Fabric, APB, AHB, and AXI-based bus architectures within the UVM environment is also needed.

Responsibilities

The Senior/Staff/Principal Design Verification Engineer will derive test plans from architectural requirements and design documents, execute verification strategies for SoCs and IP cores, create testbench architectures, develop reference models, bus-functional models, and drivers to verify design requirements, integrate verification IPs from various vendors, develop and tune tests to achieve coverage goals, own and debug failures in simulation to identify root causes, analyze and close code and functional coverage, and work closely with DV leads to improve verification flows. Additionally, the role involves a deep understanding of low-power design, UPF integration, boot sequences, HW/SW interaction verification, and knowledge of ARM low-power design and power policy units, as well as expertise in High-Speed I/O protocols such as Ethernet, SDIO, USB2.0, MIPI DSI/CSI, and basic IO protocols (SPI/Octal SPI/I2C/UART/I2S/I3C).
