Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field, and have at least 7 years of experience in machine learning engineering, with a strong focus on developing and deploying production-level machine learning models. Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data mining techniques is essential, along with experience in designing and implementing scalable data pipelines. Experience with auction and pricing mechanisms is highly preferred.
As a Senior Staff Machine Learning Engineer, you will lead the development and execution of strategies related to the ads marketplace, auction, and pricing, proactively furthering the team's understanding of marketplace dynamics and developing algorithms to improve efficiency and effectiveness. You will oversee end-to-end ML workflows, mentor junior and senior engineers, foster innovation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the ads marketplace and drive Reddit’s vision for an advertising platform.
