3+ years of experience in the cruise line industry or back-of-house food and beverage operations
Experience in hotel logistics, inventory, warehousing, 3PL, hotel storekeeping
Operational excellence with existing cruise line’s and provisions
Comfortable working (incomplete in JD, but listed as requirement)
Responsibilities
Provision scheduling, setup, and communication to internal and external clients
Quarterly performance reviews for all dedicated provision providers
Discovery and research of potential new port itineraries
Partner with Supply Chain Logistics, Trade Compliance, as well as external partners to ensure the seamless coordination
Partner with DCL Sourcing Specialists to ensure PO data accuracy while collaborating with Expeditors to track standard shipping and facilitate expedited requests
Identify opportunities and offer recommendations for process improvements
Participate in cross-training initiatives for on-board hotel stores operations
Assess shipboard teams are knowledgeable and complying with Location Operating Guidelines (LOGs) and Safety Management Systems (SMS) policies and procedures
Manage Coupa Ordering Systems & Receipt for 3rd party F&B vendors
Support Shipboard team in preparation and execution of new itineraries, Guest, and Crew events
Schedule staff meetings with the Managers of Hotel Stores Managers
Maintain accuracy and effectiveness of training
New implementation of systems for inventory management within the fleet
Other responsibilities and duties as assigned by Manager Hotel Port Operation
