Requirements

Candidates should have at least 3 years of professional experience and a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a similar field, or equivalent experience. Required skills include excellent understanding of modern JavaScript, typing in JS, HTML5, and CSS, experience with React/Flux (or equivalent) and modern JavaScript tooling/Webpack, and a strong foundation in algorithms and application design.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer UI will develop distributed data streams and intuitive data flow for client-side web applications, create new visualizations and interfaces that scale with Confluent Cloud, and collaborate with backend software engineers to ensure user experience is not compromised by performance constraints of backend APIs. They will also work with designers to implement component styling and interactions based on UI wireframes and collaborate with product managers to build a seamless user experience.
