  • 2–4 years of experience in software testing or SDET roles, preferably in the healthcare domain
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, STLC, and Agile practices
  • Experience with API testing and tools like Postman, REST Assured
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python)
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting
  • Familiarity with healthcare data formats and standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, ICD-10)
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Perform core verification and validation testing of healthcare applications, including EHR/EMR systems, patient portals, and APIs
  • Review and analyze healthcare-specific requirements and translate them into detailed test plans and test cases
  • Execute and maintain both manual and automated test suites for functional and non-functional testing
  • Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar, ensuring secure and compliant data exchange
  • Write and review code to support test automation and investigate defects
  • Participate in code reviews and collaborate with developers to ensure testability and quality
  • Ensure traceability of test cases to business and regulatory requirements
  • Document and track defects using tools like JIRA, and work with teams to resolve them
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation frameworks
  • Stay updated on healthcare compliance standards and ensure testing aligns with them
