Requirements

5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, ideally within fast-paced, high-growth tech environments, with at least 2+ years focused on mobile development (iOS preferred)
Strong expertise in React Native and Expo, including building, shipping, and maintaining apps in production
Solid understanding of cross-platform complexities, including navigation, animations, performance, and device differences
Thrive in dynamic, high-performance startup settings and comfortable with ambiguity, rapid iteration, and taking initiative
Demonstrated ability to take full ownership of projects, solve complex problems, and consistently deliver high-quality, impactful results

Responsibilities

Lead major initiatives within the development of our new mobile application using React Native and Expo, delivering polished, performant, and reliable experiences across iOS and Android
Work closely with product and design to translate concepts into intuitive, beautiful, and high-quality mobile interfaces
Own features end-to-end, from shaping technical approach to implementing to testing to deploying to the App Store and Play Store
Drive architectural decisions around navigation, state management, performance optimisation, offline support, and API integration
Collaborate with backend and platform teams to define mobile-friendly APIs and ensure seamless cross-platform behaviour
Mentor other engineers, sharing best practices in mobile development and contributing to a high-performance engineering culture
Push the boundaries of AI UX on mobile, helping define how users interact with agents, automation, and complex workflows on smaller screens
