This role is hybrid, requiring the successful candidate to report to GM Global Technical Center or Austin Innovation Technical Center or Mountain View Technical Center three times per week at minimum, regardless of where they live.
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience), 5+ years of software development experience, and 2+ years in mobile development are required, along with experience in software project delivery efforts like deployments.
Proficiency in React Native for developing mobile applications, creating APIs, writing unit and UI tests, full lifecycle development using standard design patterns, and knowledge of software testing and quality assurance including automation are required.
The role involves holding themselves and others accountable for demonstrating GM's values and cultural behaviors, modeling GM behaviors, crafting a winning culture, and playing a leadership role in the team.
Strong candidates will have 5+ years in software development with 2+ years in mobile, experience with React Native and deployments, knowledge of testing and quality assurance, and the ability to lead and collaborate in a fast-paced environment while upholding GM standards.
