Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a technology related field (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
  • 7+ years of relevant technical experience and experience in test automation
  • Experience with PL/SQL and complex queries, views, packages etc
  • Strong SQL skills plus Java and Python development experience
  • 2+ years of Big Data, Data Lake or Data Warehouse experience (desired)
  • Experience with ETL Data Pipeline testing of Data Warehouse platforms; exposure to iCEDQ test tool preferred
  • Experienced in Big Data Reporting Tools (OBIEE / Tableau / Power BI)
  • Familiarity with business intelligence reporting platforms, such as Power BI (advantageous)
  • Playwright, Selenium knowledge (good to have)
  • Strong working knowledge of relational databases, like Oracle or Postgres, and data lake/warehouse concepts, such as Snowflake
  • Knowledge of data pipeline testing (distinct advantage)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD Pipelines
  • ISTQB Certification (nice to have)
  • Experience as Software Engineer in test automation of RESTful services (Cucumber, Junit, Selenium, RestAssured, Git, Gradle, Maven)
  • Data Engineer working with the latest Big Data technologies and tools (Snowflake, Airflow, AWS, Azure)
  • Expert knowledge in test automation frameworks and proficiency, quality and passion in coding ability
  • Experience with UI and Microservices Architecture, Restful API’s, Enterprise messaging like ActiveMQ, Kafka
  • Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Delivery tools like Jenkins, Maven, uDeploy, Stash
  • Experience in executing projects in an Agile environment
  • Ability to collaborate with other technical and business experts in the team
  • Curiosity to stay current with new and emerging technologies and concepts
