Requirements

3-5 years of professional experience building production software systems using TypeScript/JavaScript
Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, object-oriented design, concurrency, and distributed systems
Hands-on experience designing and building RESTful or event-driven APIs with Node.js/Nest/Express
Proficient in diagnosing complex issues across distributed services using logs, traces, and performance metrics

Responsibilities

Design and develop robust, maintainable backend services in TypeScript/Node.js and other modern technologies that power EHR integrations and clinical workflow automation
Collaborate with DevOps engineers to deploy and operate microservices in AWS using containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, ECS)
Contribute to code reviews, system design discussions, and technical decisions that raise the engineering bar across the team
Use AI-assisted coding tools like GitHub Copilot to streamline development, increase quality, and accelerate delivery
Design, build, and scale key services handling patient notifications, click tracking, and other critical user engagement workflows
Own the development and enhancement of provider- and patient-facing applications, building intuitive and scalable user interfaces with React
Develop and maintain reliable, scalable integrations with third-party patient education content providers and partners
