Requirements

  • Experience in software engineering role, at least 4 years with demonstrable experience in programming languages
  • Experience running and owning Golang services in Production
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS/GCP/Azure)
  • Strong experience in technical design
  • Deep technical expertise, proven technical leadership and technical influence across wide organizations

Responsibilities

  • Be a decision maker on one or several projects from scoping to tech design and to production
  • Have ownership over the Software Engineering process (working with stakeholders to collect requirements, create tech design, drive project forward with a team)
  • Lead architecture reviews, code reviews, incident reviews, design discussions, and raise the bar for engineering best practices across teams and departments
  • Build microservice architecture using Golang, k8s running on GCP services
  • Leadership with mentoring colleagues in Golang and its ecosystem, which includes software engineers and QA automation engineers
  • Have ownership over the results delivered (monitoring the results, Operational Excellence, participation in on-call)
  • Working cross team with stakeholders including Engineers, DevOps, Engineering Managers, Product Managers and QA
  • Contribute to the tech roadmap ideas and vision for the product you will be working on
