Requirements

Candidates should possess a development background with experience in Linux, scripting, and tool development, along with 5+ years of experience in similar positions. Fluency in English at the B2 - Upper Intermediate level is required, as is experience with CI pipelines using GitHub Actions, Grafana, and building dashboards to track key metrics. Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, and NodeJS is also necessary, alongside knowledge of infrastructure tools such as Azure/AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer will monitor and improve the backend Continuous Integration (CI) workflows, optimize automated test scaffolding using Mocha, and improve the default dev environment to meet the changing needs of engineering staff. They will create new tools and processes to speed up the software development lifecycle, help measure vital signs of engineering work, and eliminate impediments. Additionally, they will work with a team to communicate priorities and roadmap commitments internally.
