Responsibilities
- Using Python and other modern programming languages, build and enhance data collection pipelines
- Using JavaScript and Python, build internal tools and dashboards to allow users to interact with data collection pipelines
- Participate in code reviews
- Collaborate with a talented team of engineers, data scientists, product managers, and subject-matter experts
- Translate requirements, specifications, and technical design documents into secure applications and/or services
- Develop and maintain software using already established best practices for creating readable and maintainable code
- Leverage Python to build, automate, and scale data collection efforts
- Contribute to the industry-leading web scraping platform and the internal tools that touch it
- Provide leadership and guidance to establish best practices for engineering teams
