Requirements

Candidates must be based remotely in Europe (UK or Norway) or North America (East Coast/ET). Advanced experience with React and at least one of the following frameworks: React Router, Remix, or Next.js is required. An excellent understanding of core web and browser concepts, including CDNs, HTTP, DOM, and browser APIs, along with proficiency in core browser and API debugging tools, is essential. Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary. Strong problem-solving skills with a result-oriented mindset, along with exceptional organizational and time management skills, are expected. Experience using Sanity in production is a bonus.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for creating and building the Content Operating System Dashboard, integrating product offerings into a single software platform for a collaborative experience. This role involves building user interfaces, planning and implementing surfaces that impact the editorial experience, and considering real-time collaboration aspects. Responsibilities include debugging and optimizing performance to ensure a snappy user interface, continuously learning from the community and teaching internal and external developers about best practices, and continuously improving the product by enhancing test coverage, API robustness, state decoupling, and dependency management.
