Requirements

Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related field or equivalent work experience
5+ years of professional software development experience
Experience leading and mentoring other engineers
Strong object-oriented programming skills; C# a plus
Experience with database design and development
Strong multi-tasking skills
Ability to self-learn
Ability to communicate well within a team environment
Ability to work independently on self-directed tasks

Responsibilities

Develop full stack software for a wide variety of platforms and technologies
Take part in the entire project life cycle, from requirements development to deployment with lots of cross-team collaboration
Engage in the research, evaluation, and application of new technologies and methodologies to solve challenging project goals
Exercise good judgment: know when to work quickly, and when to build a robust solution
Collaborate on product development and bring ideas
Work on server-side aspects including processing security events, provisioning equipment, monitoring station signaling, testing-automation, and integrating devices with the Alarm.com connected ecosystem
Work on backend services, websites, and database design
Collaborate closely with device engineers, business partners, and other engineering teams
Other duties as assigned
