At Torc, we have always believed that autonomous vehicle technology will transform how we travel, move freight, and do business. A leader in autonomous driving since 2007, Torc has spent over a decade commercializing our solutions with experienced partners. Now a part of the Daimler family, we are focused solely on developing software for automated trucks to transform how the world moves freight. Join us and catapult your career with the company that helped pioneer autonomous technology, and the first AV software company with the vision to partner directly with a truck manufacturer.
The Cloud Automation Team is responsible for Torc’s global AWS organization. We develop automation systems to manage security, networking, user guardrails, and scaled access to cloud systems and services. Our team values collaboration, continuous improvement, and technical excellence while maintaining a supportive environment focused on growth and learning.
Most teams at Torc leverage services in the cloud, and we need experts in deploying and running automation to manage foundational services in the cloud to help those teams on their journey. We maintain a large, global AWS Organization and associated Network and Security services. We are tasked with the operational activities of supporting that Organization as well as facilitating access for teams across the company. Additionally, we run the foundational automation and infrastructure services for our large GitHub organization.
We are looking for a cloud engineer with experience in large-scale infrastructure automation and a background in cloud and traditional networking concepts. You’ll focus on network infrastructure and automation while collaborating closely with our senior network engineer and contributing to broader cloud automation activities.
