Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, and have at least 5 years of experience in backend software development, with a strong focus on Javascript and Node.js, and ideally experience with React, Typescript, and other similar programming languages. They should demonstrate a deep understanding of software architecture, security, and maintainability, along with the ability to contribute to architectural decisions.
The Senior Software Engineer will own substantial workstreams, including new user-facing features and improvements to existing services, collaborate with mobile, backend, and data science teams to deliver a seamless user experience, contribute to platform architectural decisions, build and maintain internal applications, participate in code reviews, quality assurance, and production monitoring, and ensure the security and safety of Well systems and data, adhering to Well’s data and security policies and HIPAA guidelines.
