Requirements

7 or more years of experience in full-stack software engineering roles
Strong proficiency in C#/.NET and experience with Angular or React
Experience designing and securing APIs using OAuth2, OIDC, and JWT
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Solid understanding of RESTful API architecture, and familiarity with GraphQL and event-driven systems
Experience with relational databases and SQL optimization
Experience integrating APIs with third-party platforms (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub, Splunk)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in agile, cross-functional teams
Ability to provide high speed DSL or cable modem (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) for home office; satellite and wireless internet not allowed
Dedicated home office space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect PHI / HIPAA information
Preferred Qualifications
BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
MS or higher in an engineering discipline
Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations
Experience with microservices architecture and API gateway technologies (e.g., Apigee, Azure API Management)
Knowledge of data privacy practices and compliance standards
Experience working with mission-critical systems and high-availability architectures

Responsibilities

Design and develop full-stack web applications using C#/.NET and modern front-end frameworks such as Angular or React
Build secure, scalable RESTful APIs and contribute to API lifecycle management and governance
Define and implement standards for API design, development, and operationalization including authentication, authorization, and data protection
Collaborate with DevOps teams to build CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps
Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments (Azure, or GCP), ensuring scalability and reliability
Lead efforts in database design, query optimization, and data modeling using relational databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL
Contribute to the development of enterprise integration patterns and reusable components
Support the implementation of workflow orchestration platforms and AI-enabling integrations (e.g., MCP)
Participate in code reviews, mentoring, and technical leadership to promote engineering excellence
Stay current with emerging technologies and drive continuous innovation in software development practices
