Requirements

Candidates should have 3+ years of experience as a backend engineer, with experience building and supporting scalable SaaS products and features. Experience as a full-stack software engineer owning and building features end-to-end, experience with relational databases and writing performant SQL queries, and experience with observability tooling are required. The ability to break down complex problems, drive towards a solution, and communicate it effectively, along with comfort navigating complex domains and building intuitive software, is essential. Candidates should be proactive in sharing ideas, possess attention to detail, have a growth mindset, and be willing to learn new things. Willingness to take part in an on-call rotation and the ability to mentor and be mentored are also required.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer will work closely with the entire company to plan, design, build, and refine core product features. They will own user-impacting features from conception to completion, build and scale the core product and technical infrastructure, and have significant ownership in the technical architecture and product roadmap. This role involves working in a variety of languages including Rust, Go, Typescript, and Haskell, and contributing to product, customer success, and growth functions.
