Requirements

5+ years of experience with Java, Kotlin or other JVM based language, experience with Spring framework and deep understanding of JDBC and database internals
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Distributed and Concurrent Systems
Strong product mindset and passion for user experience, prioritizing work with customers in mind and making data-driven decisions to fix customer pain-points
Ability to work independently on customer problems, taking responsibility and end-to-end ownership of projects to achieve goals
Close collaboration with product managers, data scientists, data analysts, engineers and other product teams on a daily basis
Great communication skills and ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Experience working with relational databases, query optimization and designing schemas
Enjoy writing testable code
Belief in and adherence to best coding practices, code reviews and open feedback

Responsibilities

Launch high-impact direct access integrations with local payment systems, focusing first on Swiss Franc (CHF) and Swedish Krona (SEK)
Maintain, scale, and optimize existing infrastructure to reduce risk and improve system resilience
Collaborate with operations and banking teams to drive efficiency and low costs
Contribute to building features for seamless financial transitions for international relocators globally
Understand team and tribe vision and contribute effectively
Understand reasons behind problematic payments and customer difficulties and solve them
Raise automation levels to enable product scaling
Understand customers and the impact of the product on their lives
Help scale-up and build a world-class money transfer product by solving technical challenges and opportunities
