Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or have equivalent practical experience. Strong coding, debugging, and engineering skills in modern C++ and Python are essential, along with familiarity with GPU programming, performance benchmarking, and optimization for deploying ML systems on edge or cloud platforms. Experience in software development, architecture design, implementation, and leading ML system design and infrastructure, including data pipelines, model training, evaluation, and deployment, is required. Experience testing and launching large-scale software products is also necessary. Bonus points include experience with state-of-the-art deep learning and computer vision models such as Transformer-based architectures, Diffusion models, Multi-Modal, and Large Vision Models, as well as experience with diverse hardware sensing technologies like vision and audio.
The Senior Software Engineer will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables, and design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions. Responsibilities include building robust and scalable data collection infrastructure, designing and building ML evaluation frameworks, deploying ML models to production, and benchmarking and optimizing their latency. The role involves conducting evaluation experiments, analyzing results, suggesting modeling improvements, and analyzing and optimizing code for quality, efficiency, and performance. This position will lead complex technical or product efforts, provide technical guidance to peers, and architect efficient and scalable ML systems. Identifying and resolving performance and scalability issues, collaborating with Product Management and UX to translate product requirements into user-centric solutions, and partnering with a cross-functional engineering team to build and deliver seamless, end-to-end solutions are also key duties.
