Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in medium- to large-scale projects by reviewing requirements, translating them into technical solutions, gathering information (e.g., design documents, product requirements, wireframes), writing and developing code, conducting unit testing, communicating status and issues, collaborating with teams, troubleshooting issues and bug-fixes, ensuring on-time delivery and hand-offs, interacting with project managers, and providing leadership
  • Work in small groups of six to ten engineers on software development and design, identifying short- and long-term solutions and timelines, reviewing and approving proposed solutions, implementing new architectural patterns, and performing design and code reviews
  • Troubleshoot business and production issues by gathering information (e.g., issue, impact, criticality, root cause), engaging support teams, formulating and executing action plans, interpreting results, performing root cause analysis, and completing documentation
  • Provide support to the business by responding to user questions, concerns, and issues (e.g., technical feasibility, implementation strategies), identifying short- and long-term solutions, facilitating resolutions, and leading cross-functional partnerships
  • Lead the discovery phase of medium to large projects by partnering with product management, project management, business, and user experience teams to develop high-level designs and obtain cross-functional approvals
