Requirements

BE/BTech/MCA/MSC IT preferable
5+ years of professional experience in software development
Highly proficient in Java (version 8 or higher) and solid understanding of full stack development
Experience with Git version control and hands-on experience with continuous integration systems
Proficient in Java development for maintaining/creating backend applications with heavy business logic
Experience in building and maintaining microservices (ideally Quarkus/Gradle)
JUnit/Groovy testing experience for testing features, edge cases, and expected behavior
Proficient in NoSQL databases (e.g., Mongo)
Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL queries for data management and reporting
Solid analytical skills for problem solving/debugging, analyzing logs, and debugging code across microservices
Strong knowledge/experience with Object Oriented methodologies, design patterns, and application architecture
Strong understanding of application software, scalability, performance, and reliability aspects
Hands-on experience in relational database modeling & queries
Highly experienced with software development processes, particularly software design and unit/integration testing
Experience in converting user/business requirements into technical solutions
Highly motivated, ready to accept challenges, continually innovate, learn, and help others
Ability to work in a fast-paced, test-driven, collaborative, and iterative programming environment
Ability to coach and mentor junior members in the team
Ability to work with cross-functional teams
Fluent in written and spoken English
Preferred Requirements
Experience with open-source frameworks such as Hibernate
Experience working on an offshore team of developers
Kubernetes experience using Kubernetes systems
Jasper Reports experience in designing reports/maintaining complex reports with custom business logic
Kotlin development competence in writing/maintaining Kotlin code ensuring clean and efficient implementation

Responsibilities

Collaborating with Product Management, Business Analysis, Professional Services, and Quality Assurance teams to deliver highly efficient features and functionality
Taking ownership of a product feature and driving design, code, and feature reviews
Ensuring the technical integrity of development in accordance with clients’ requirements
Identifying and developing solutions for bug fixes and changes to applications
Acting as a technology authority in short or long-term planning, making recommendations on technical approaches within an overall program
Providing advanced technical support and advice to others on engagement/program during proposal writing, solution design, and implementation
Providing first-hand supervision and guidance to Software Engineers on assigned activities
Some international travel to customers and other offices may be required
