Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, with a preference for graduates from IDF software units, and a minimum of four years of experience with Java programming. Strong communication skills, the ability to collaborate effectively within a team of engineers and product managers, and solid analytical and troubleshooting skills are required, alongside design capabilities and a self-motivated approach with a strong sense of ownership. Proficiency in English is essential, and familiarity with Big Data technologies and AWS services such as S3, SQS, and Step Functions is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineer, the individual will be responsible for designing and implementing highly reliable and scalable Apache Spark applications to efficiently process large volumes of data, integrating with relational databases, MongoDB, and various data providers. They will also work on integrating with AWS services, participating in agile development cycles to improve the development life cycle, and contributing to the development of testing facilities. Furthermore, the role involves working with Engineers, DevOps, and Product Managers to build and maintain big data platforms and pipelines, ensuring data ingestion, ETL processes, and overall data processing functionality.
