Advanced knowledge in AI and machine learning, including staying up to date with latest advancements, emerging technologies, and cutting-edge techniques
Expertise in designing and architecting AI solutions, analyzing business requirements, understanding constraints, and proposing appropriate machine learning models and algorithms
Ability to consider scalability, performance, and maintainability in solution design
Experience providing technical guidance, mentorship to junior team members, code/design reviews, and thought leadership
Strong collaboration skills with stakeholders (e.g., product managers, data scientists, business analysts) and cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

Conduct advanced research in AI and machine learning, stay up to date with advancements, explore emerging technologies, and identify opportunities for complex business problems
Design and architect AI solutions for complex problems, analyzing requirements and proposing models/algorithms
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, share best practices, review code/designs, and participate in technical discussions
Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and implement AI/ML projects
Drive continuous improvement and innovation in AI/ML practices, identify improvements, explore new techniques, and promote best practices
Evaluate and integrate third-party tools or services to enhance AI solutions
Facilitate design review sessions, ensure alignment with requirements/best practices, and mentor juniors during sessions
Collaborate with engineering manager and team lead to refine design/implementation strategies and provide peer feedback
Participate in and coordinate meetings for effective team coordination and communication
Independently prepare and deliver presentations/reports to stakeholders, translating complex concepts
Interpret and report data findings; maintain/update business intelligence tools, databases, dashboards, systems, or methods
Design and develop solutions to complex application problems, system administration issues, or network concerns (where applicable)
