Requirements

Solid understanding of distributed systems, containers (Docker), Kubernetes, and microservices observability patterns
Proven track record implementing Terraform and GitOps practices to enable scalable, reliable, and automated infrastructure delivery
Deep expertise in managing Elastic Cloud (Kibana, Beats, Logstash, Index Lifecycle Policies)
Hands-on experience with Dynatrace and Prometheus monitoring stacks, including exporter management and custom dashboards
Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, EKS, S3, IAM, etc.) and Streaming framework (Kafka etc.)

Responsibilities

Own the architecture, implementation, and lifecycle management of the observability platform (Elastic Cloud, Dynatrace, Prometheus, & more)
Lead efforts to improve logging, monitoring, metrics collection, distributed tracing, and alerting across cloud-native applications
Collaborate with engineering, security, and Architecture teams to define SLIs/SLOs and implement robust observability standards
Evangelize for all observability-related initiatives and mentor junior engineers in best practices
Integrate observability tools into CI/CD pipelines to enable proactive detection and incident response
Participate in on-call rotations and post-incident reviews, driving reliability improvements across the platform
Lead the design, automation, and support of the observability stack across Elastic Cloud, Dynatrace, Prometheus, and AWS
Set the strategic direction of observability and mentor a growing team of engineers
