Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
12+ years of full stack software development experience
Experience analyzing performance metrics and reporting on findings
Experience collaborating with peer groups such as QA, Development and Operations
Experience documenting work tasks and changes in tools such as Jira, Service Now, Confluence
Comfortable and able to work directly with developers and other engineering teams
Experience working in highly productive team environments employing agile practices

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the application which ingests performance data and health metrics of flagship products from various data sources into Postgres DB and uses Grafana/GWT dashboards to visualize and monitor the ingested data
Migrate GWT dashboards to Grafana dashboards
Deploy and manage the application stack including the Postgres DB in Kubernetes
Analyze registry performance metrics to ensure SLAs are met
Write complex analytical SQL queries for performance monitoring, trend analysis, and anomaly detection
Collaborate with DevOps, Infrastructure teams to ensure reliable and scalable monitoring
Obtain and share knowledge about internal operations applications
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for processes, procedures, and configurations
Provide detailed analysis and explanation of data for senior leadership
Act as backup for a REST API based internal database governance platform database application
