Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field
  • Solid understanding of high-speed digital design principles and SI/PI concepts
  • Experience with SI simulation tools (e.g., HyperLynx, SIwave, Ansys, HFSS, ADS)
  • Familiarity with PCB layout tools (e.g., Allegro, Altium)
  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment for signal integrity measurements (e.g., oscilloscopes, VNA, TDR)
  • Knowledge of communication standards such as PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, USB, etc
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in server, storage, or networking hardware development
  • Knowledge of EMI/EMC design and testing
  • Familiarity with power integrity analysis

Responsibilities

  • Perform signal integrity analysis and simulations for high-speed digital interfaces (PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, etc.) using tools such as HyperLynx, SIwave, or Ansys
  • Define PCB stack-ups, routing strategies, and design rules for signal integrity and power integrity
  • Analyze and resolve SI/PI issues such as reflections, crosstalk, ground bounce, and timing violations
  • Collaborate with hardware design engineers to optimize schematic and layout for maximum performance and reliability
  • Develop test plans and participate in lab measurements using oscilloscopes, VNA, TDR, etc
  • Work with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure compliance with signal integrity requirements
  • Document analysis results, design guidelines, and recommendations for cross-functional teams
  • Stay updated on latest SI/PI technologies and standards in the industry
