Position Overview

The Sales IT Engineering team is seeking a Software Engineer to develop software for the internal Configure Price Quoting (CPQ) Engineering team using the ServiceNow platform. This role is for passionate, hungry, and humble engineers who take pride in writing clean, maintainable code and owning their work end-to-end.


Responsibilities

  • Build high-quality, clean, scalable, and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (e.g., Code Reviews, Unit testing).
  • Collaborate daily with a team of developers, product managers, and quality engineers using agile software development methodology.
  • Implement software that is simple to use, allowing customers to extend and customize functionality to meet their specific needs.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features, while also enhancing the existing product suite.
  • Work within a Scrum-based Agile development process that emphasizes coding over documentation and meetings.
  • Mentor colleagues and promote knowledge-sharing within the team.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
  • 4+ years of hands-on software development experience.
  • Experience working on the ServiceNow Platform.
  • Proficiency in writing code in Java, JavaScript, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
  • Experience with JavaScript and the Web as a platform, focusing on reusability and componentization.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and object-oriented design.
  • Experience with modern UI frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.
  • Strong analytical and design skills.
  • High coding standards and the ability to maintain them under pressure.
  • Understanding of the Configure Price Quoting (CPQ) domain (highly desirable).
