Requirements

Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 3 years with a Master's degree, or a PhD without experience, or equivalent work experience. Proficiency with code scanning tools, a deep understanding of secure coding practices and standards (e.g., OWASP Top Ten), and hands-on experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C# are required. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating security tools into DevOps workflows, strong analytical skills, and fluent written and oral communication in English are also necessary. Preferred certifications include CSSLP or relevant security certifications.

Responsibilities

The Senior Security Engineer will manage and optimize code scanning tools to detect and remediate security vulnerabilities, provide security guidance and best practices to engineering teams, and design, maintain, and report on application security metrics and dashboards. They will perform security assessments, collaborate with DevOps and CI/CD teams to integrate security tools, stay up-to-date on security threats and remediation strategies, and deliver secure coding training to foster a security-first culture.
