Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Information Systems or other Technical degree
Minimum 6 to 9 years of total experience as Hands-on Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) in an agile team
3 to 4 years of Web Application Automation framework development experience using Java, Selenium & BDD/Cucumber
Expertise in programming language Java
Good experience in testing APIs and UI
Ability to work independently
Strong communication skills to demo reports, automation scripts & defects to team members/stakeholders
Active contribution in all aspects of software development from requirements to deployment
Typically Minimum 4 Years Relevant Experience - Professional experience with Software testing, coding, designing, and developing (minimum qualification)
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree with typically Minimum 6 Years of Relevant SDET Experience - Experience developing automation frameworks
Skills in Functional/manual testing, Automation testing, API testing, Agile/scrum methodologies
Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle / Testing Methodologies - Agile - Scrum, Kanban, Test Driven Development, Behavior Driven Development
Programming Languages/Technologies - Java, Selenium, BDD/Cucumber
Working hours: 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM

Responsibilities

Independently drive the testing/quality efforts of an application team
Design, develop, run and maintain automation testing frameworks using Java, Selenium, BDD/Cucumber
Run automation suites, identify defects, provide test execution and defect reports in agile/scrum methodology
Prepare good test scenarios/test cases
Build quality in the SDLC/STLC process
Demo scripts/defects to the team
Communicate well with stakeholders
Focus on testing web applications, APIs, test automation, requirements analysis, executing regressions, and supporting product deployments
Provide test strategy, design, implementation for user stories and features
Ensure defects are triaged to completion
Communicate ideas, issues, status, and outcomes with the team and managers
Professionally argue points and ensure the right solutions
Assist in promoting a positive team culture
